Why Aussie guys are so dense

There are so many many reasons that I hate cricket. Not the least of which is a delay when I have been promised a film filled with giant, super-smart fucked up sharks tearing people apart. Which reminds me, I had a dream the other night about sharks. For whatever reason I started riding a shark, and it's nothing like that sentence sounds. I held onto the dorsal fin and was just pulled along, going wherever the shark went. Somehow we made it from the ocean to a river. As the river narrowed, a piece of driftwood (or some other obstruction) was barring the way. The shark was travelling at a very high speed and ducked under the obstruction, resurfacing on the other side. At this speed, I went straight over the top of the obstruction and settled on the other side, the shark going merrily on its way having gotten rid of its passenger. The annoying part was that I then had to swim back upstream the way we'd come. I don't really want to know what it means. I was just happy it had sharks in it.

I have tickets to see the Tezuka exhibition at the National Gallery. So I'll be headed off there sometime in the next week or so. It's an exhibition tailor-made for the geek in me. Last time I was there I was seeing Picasso with SL in October. Wish I was seeing this one with her too.

I'm basically officially on holidays as of today and boy has this felt a long time coming! I'm planning to catch up on some reading, apply for jobs and set a few new goals for next year. Suggestions on potential 2007 goals are most welcome. It was suggested that Aussie guys, me specifically, are dense. I can't argue with calling me dense, but to suggest that all Aussie guys are dense? Seems a bit much. What do my readers think? Are we behind the eight-ball when compared to guys from other countries? Or is being dense just a guy thing in general?
