What can I do, what can I be, when I'm with you I wanna stay there

I was thinking today about those dreams we set up for ourselves when we are teenagers. Those "I have to do that before I'm married" type dreams. Most of the time I really think that I haven't achieved anything, and then there are days like today. Because these days are few and far between, I have decided to document it for posterity. Posterity being until I get bored and decide to burn this blog too.

Things I wanted to do when I was a teenager :
- Visit Japan. Done.
- Live in the inner-city. Done.
- Date intelligent and wonderful women. Done, though perhaps a few more than I may have anticipated as a young and idealistic romantic.
- Learn another language. A quarter done.
- Write a novel. Not even close to done.
- Write comics for DC. I will always have this dream.
-
Get married to an intelligent and wonderful woman. Looking less likely with every passing day.

So it would appear that I have done some things. As I approach the end of my studies I am beginning to consider just where to go next. At least two of those incompletes are on my agenda for next year. But I want to create some new dreams. Looks like I have some thinking to do. Or at least some reading of other people's blogs and stealing their dreams and reporting them as my own.

Oh yeah, and 100 Bullets really does rock.

You can collaborate with ninjawookie in the comic writing dept. He can provide the illustrations. As for intelligent and wonderful women, I would have thought there would be an abundant supply in Melbourne? Gee, your thresholds are not that high. Of course, 'wonderful' is the subjective criteria here. I've lowered mine even further - to 'niceness' (intelligence I can forgo because it usually comes with arrogance and competition bar a few exceptions).

Hmmm... maybe I should be talking to the Wookiee huh?
I shouldn't say 'intelligent' I actually mean not a bimbo. Someone who is independent and tough but soft as well. And all the other adjectives.

I dunno dude, i can't draw backgrounds, and i'm sure my perspective sucks.

On the other hand i'll keep on trying, + i'm trying out the writing side moreso than the art side, but i'll see what i can do.
If it looks shit, we'll just pretend they're indie comics :D On that note you should really check out all of Craig Thompsons stuff, he hads done Blankets, Goodbye Chunky Rice and Carnet De Voyage, I got WKO hooked.

Every Chapter of 100 Bullets unfolds, it's like you're learning something new every book, but you're really not, but a lot of stuff happens and it's good...man it's getting late me no sense make.
