Life is full of choices, as we are all very aware. There are so many changes taking place that it's difficult to know what is the best way forward. Naturally, we consider things such as power. Ease of use. What makes us feel good. Sex appeal also plays a factor.
I've spent the past week becoming acquainted with Apple Macs. As a media teacher, there are no other realistic options. I've always thought they are cool, and drooled just a little at some of the programs on offer. However, it wasn't until I actually sat down and forced myself to use the things (largely because I had no choice in the matter) that I realised just how wonderful they are. Sure, it's an adjustment to get used to the operating system, but let's be honest, Vista is going to be much the same anyhow. So eventually we're going to have to get used to operating systems of this nature. But damnnnnnnnnnnn!! iMovie. Garage Band. For media teachers, the Mac is a dream. I'm in full "I want an oompa loompa now, daddy!" mode. If I'm teaching media next year then I will own a Mac. There are no other choices. Not only am I now an official Green Lantern, but I'm also in love.
Oh yeah, and there seems to be some controversy over the green t-shirt/brown corduroy pants debate. Much horror was expressed that I own a pair of brown jeans. Apparently it's ok to have brown pants. Brown jeans, however...

Damn, I've really committed fashion suicide haven't I?
