On Friday afternoon in a sun drenched courtyard in Bundoora, Nic Cage, Jim Carrey and Cher sat and shared a fag together. Such star power is not often seen in one place outside of a Los Angeles AA meeting. As I sat with three co-workers we recounted our 'star doppelgangers'. When living in Japan and even once or twice in China I was regularly told by students that I look like Jim Carrey. Those of you that know me will find this humourous as I don't actually look much like him at all. The two co-workers I was sitting with lamented how they are regularly told they look like Nic Cage and Cher respectively.
So it makes me wonder, dear readers, who is your 'star doppelganger'?
Btw, for those in the know, I have started eating at Pings again on campus. I've been eating there on and off for a decade now. Still love it though... sigh... so sad!

you don't even remotely resemble jim carrey! he's got the biggest mouth i've ever seen....unless your ex-students were trying to suggest something ;)
pings serves better chinese food (less salty) than the one at agora but the lady boss was so parsimonious with her serving.
