I've managed to accomplish a grand total of nothing this weekend. I've watched the entire fourth season of Scrubs and played some Simpsons Hit and Run and that's pretty much it. I even have the sixth volume of 100 Bullets waiting to be read and yet I've done nothing. Which is strange because I'm usually all over the latest volume of that. Just been feeling a tad lacklustre I guess.
Had a birthday dinner tonight for one of my older sisters. Oddly enough, if you'd told me a year ago that I'd be able to tolerate family dinners then I'd have laughed at you and told you you've had enough to drink. How things change. Guess in the space of a year I've become a little more family oriented. Or perhaps just a little more tolerant. Conversation ranged from the Sydney sheikh who is making life edgy for all racial groups to life in Dubai/HK/Singapore to whether cake with cream tastes better with jam or not. Of course it tastes better with jam, life is better wherever your heart is and that the sheikh is a fruitloop. What I found most interesting about the sheikh's recent comments on women being targets for rape by virtue of exposing their skin is that it doesn't take into account the incidences of rape within the Muslim community. But I guess that's another argument altogether... at least for him, anyway.
Despite all the assignments I have left, the only thing I think of when it comes to that is my Sake Party which will take place in less than two weeks. Clearly, given that I chose to study this year and that I've made every possible effort to be the world's number one procrastinator, I am more than entitled to a sake party to celebrate the end of a year of stupid study. Don't ask me where I'll be in 3 months time because that's still very much open to debate, but if anything is clear to me, it's that it has been far too long since I've had a decent sake binge. Less than two weeks! Woohoo!

this blogger beta business is making it real hard to post comments.
i'm slowly getting through hit and run also.
Also i currently can't draw very well, but i will work on it in the holidays - email me your ideas for a comic to kinkygeek@hotmail.com (i made it up in highschool! okay!?) are you reading any indie comics right now?
I used to be on the DC forum, but some of those 40 year old men just infuriate me.
